SMU Cox is offering a full-tuition scholarship valued at $60,000 to one of its
MBA programs for working professionals. Because of tough economic conditions the dream of an
MBA is not a reality for everyone. Even so, business professionals continue to seek a competitive edge in a tight employment market. This year, unprecedented numbers have enrolled in SMU's
MBA programs. Because many employers no longer offer tuition reimbursement or program sponsorship, the SMU Working Professionals
MBA Scholarship makes the dream of professional and personal advancement a reality for someone who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
Working professionals with an undergraduate degree and at least two years full-time work experience are encouraged to register to win the scholarship. Registrants can select which program is right for them based on stated admissions criteria. The Professional MBA (PMBA) program requires an undergraduate degree and at least two years professional work experience. The Executive MBA (EMBA) program is for experienced managers and executives with at least eight years work experience and a track record of professional success. Awarding of the scholarship will be dependent on the winner meeting all admissions criteria for the selected program.
Successful completion of either program results in the awarding of the prestigious
MBA degree from Cox School of Business. The SMU Cox
MBA program is ranked among the top business schools nationally and internationally by major publications including
BusinessWeek, Financial Times, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and
U.S. News & World Report.
