Corporate Social Responsibility Comes to the Forefront Philip Morris Emphasizes Ethical Behavior and Social Responsibility
DALLAS, Texas (SMU) - Recent news stories underscore the growing importance of ethics, corporate and social responsibility in American business. Wednesday, May 1, David Nicoli, vice president of corporate affairs strategy and social responsibility for Philip Morris, will examine the unique challenges and controversies facing the world's largest consumer goods company as it reworks and redefines its corporate ethics and social responsibility functions.
Philip Morris and its operating companies - Philip Morris USA, Kraft, Nabisco, and Miller Brewing - faces a unique set of circumstances. Nicoli will share how the company is aggressively restructuring its business, placing a new emphasis and awareness on ethical behavior and social responsibility.
