Cox School's MBA Program
Selected in Top 50 by Financial Times
In its Monday, January 25, edition, the Financial Times (London) announced that SMU’s Cox School of Business was selected as one of the top 50 MBA programs worldwide. Cox was the only Texas business school selected for the top 50. The ranking was based on a review of admissions standards, placement success, faculty research, value added, and global focus of the MBA program. Cox was ranked 30th overall and 24th in the United States by the Financial Times. This was the Financial Times’ first survey of MBA programs.
"We are delighted that the Financial Times has acknowledged the excellence of the Cox School of Business. Our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends are working hard to create a global reputation for Cox and SMU, and it is rewarding to see this effort recognized." said Albert W. Niemi, Jr., Dean of the school.
The Cox School’s Full Time MBA and Executive MBA programs are ranked among the best in the U.S. by Business Week magazine. U.S. News &World Report ranks the school’s undergraduate business program as a top 50 program.
