George Scalise, president of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), stands at the helm of both a dynamic organization and a thriving industry. Scalise will present "Semiconductor Industry Outlook 2001-2003," a program that will address the sales, technology, and markets of the semiconductor industry as well as the industry's overall structure. His 30 years in executive positions with corporations like Apple and National Semiconductor give him a unique perspective on the industry.
Representing the computer chip industry, the Semiconductor Industry Association provides leadership for U.S. chip manufacturers on critical issues of trade, technology, environmental protection, and worker safety and health. Member companies comprise 90 percent of U.S.-based semiconductor production.
