Strategic Plan

Over the next strategic planning horizon, the Cox School will strive to achieve the following four objectives:

• Provide high-quality degree and non-degree programs that enrich the lives of our students and help them advance their current careers or launch new careers.
• Recruit and retain a distinguished faculty that provides high-quality instruction in Cox programs and generates significant scholarship to advance the academic reputation of the Cox School and SMU. 
• Provide a high-quality service environment for our students and participants by offering exceptional value-added programs outside the classroom in such areas as mentoring, globalization, leadership, and career services and placement.
• Secure the resources necessary to accomplish the three objectives above by increasing scholarships for students, endowed positions for faculty, and funding for special programs, centers, and institutes
